Chris Garneau‘s music is like that one especially quirky friend you have in your circle. He’s rather eccentric, has some weird habits, but more than often says or does something that A. Makes you think, or B. Affects you deeply. I thoroughly enjoy this jaunty, beautifully arranged number — complete with rattling percussion, fun piano play and gorgeous string sections — from his latest solo effort. I dare you to listen to this and not be at least somewhat enamored with Garneau’s quirkiness. Seriously, I dare you.
“Dirty Night Clowns” By Chris Garneau (From El Radio, out now on Absolutely Kosher)
Oh yeah, and Garneau does some fantastic slower stuff. I mean wow. BONUS! “Raw And Awake,” also from El Radio.
BONUS #2! A great acoustic performance of “Hands on the Radio,” also from El Radio.
