TWJ Giveaway!: Junip’s Rope & Summit EP on vinyl!

We’ve got a special treat for you thanks to our friends at Junip’s North American label, Mute Records!

We’re giving away two copies of the Rope & Summit EP on vinyl! The four-song 12″ would be a nice edition to anyone’s record collection, and we’re giving you a chance to have it for free!

All you have to do to enter the contest? Just submit an idea for a snappy new tagline for The Wounded Jukebox (right now, it’s “Dedicated to rocking your socks,” but we know you can do WAY better!) and then leave that and your email address in the comments!

We’ll pick our favorites from the bunch and then select two winners from that group at random to receive their very own 12″ Rope & Summit EP.

The contest is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada, and we will do the drawing at 11:30 p.m. EST on Sunday, October 10. Winners will be notified via email, so make sure you submit your email address with your tagline idea!

We’ve raved about the wonderfully chill and crisp music of Junip here at TWJ before. The band’s first-ever full-length album Fields dropped September 14, and it’s been getting wonderful reviews thus far.

As Matt said just a couple of weeks ago: “Those of us who fell in love with José González and his shy strumming have been bouncing our leg in anticipation for years now.”

Junip is still offering a free download of their Rope & Summit EP on their website, just for signing up for their mailing list.

And here are some goodies for everyone! A new Junip remix, another look at the video for “Always” directed by Andreas Nilsson, and a list of upcoming tour dates. Good luck, and thanks for reading!

Since you’re name is Wounded Jukebox I feel like your subhead/tagline should go with your name. This might not make sense but it sounded cool
