AND WHEN YOU KISS ME, I DON’T WANT ANYTHING ELSE

Artist (visual not sound) David Horvitz makes me want to squeal with excitement. Recently, he published a mixed tape entitled “AND WHEN YOU KISS ME, I DON’T WANT ANYTHING ELSE.” The mix is complete with instructions. Download to your personal listening device, go outside 21 minutes before the sunrise, and walk. Have no determined path, just let the music lead you. The sun will rise when you are at the halfway point of the mix, you will have an additional 21 minutes to spend with the sun.

As a viewer (and now a listener), Horvitz wants to send you to a new, unexpected place — physically and mentally. He allows you to interact with him. He lets you to be the artist. He is making living, breathing, approachable, free art.

About the mix, Horvitz states: “All of the songs are from what is currently in my iTunes. My computer is old and falling apart and has no memory, so what is in my iTunes are usually recent acquirements, or songs that have stayed on my computer for years because I can write with them on.”
