Introducing — Glyphs: “On & On”

Glyphs is a pair of dudes from London who make electronic music . The first song from the band’s free, self-titled EP, “On & On” is an awfully fun journey from 0:01 to 4:21. It begins with vocalist Mark Walsh accompanied by little more than handclaps and a high-hat cymbal sample, and just as soon as it’s grabbed the listener’s ear, in comes the fun and funky synth line that carries much of the rest of the track.

It seems to me that “On & On” is about finding that perfect connection with someone, and realizing that it changes everything you previously thought about what makes you unique, and what makes the other person themselves. But really, it’s just a catchy tune you can tap your toe to, and that’s a great thing.
