Tom Eddy: The Art Of Escaping

To me, Tom Eddy sounds like Matt Costa mixed with Jeff Buckley. Strange combination, I know, but he has the fun songs similar to Mr. Costa, on the other hand he has the melancholy sound of Buckley, mixing in the hollow guitar. Based in Seattle, Eddy has done work with Beat Connection, who have also been posted about on TWJ. I am especially intrigued by the first two tracks “The Art of Escaping” and “Morning Harvest,” and how they illustrate both sides of his style. Get his entire album and name your own price at Bandcamp.

Thanks for the comment, Chris. Tom is great. He actually has a show tonight @ columbia city theater if you are around the Seattle area.
