Freakish Atlantic: Siren Songs

Berlin, Germany is home to the duo Freakish Atlantic. I say that they sound like Ben Gibbard or Oasis, mixed with The Album Leaf and The Shins. They use catchy riffs, awesome xylophone, synths, and smooth introspective vocals, that all come together to form something exciting. On their recently released EP, Siren Songs, they switch effortlessly from folk and indie pop/rock, to experimental.

As Florian and Marius say “We tried our best to make these bedroom/laptop pop songs sound as big as humanly possible.” I say they did a great job and look forward to their full-length release. Download their 5 song EP for free at Bandcamp or SoundCloud
