Sonically, and even vocally, the new song from Black Light Dinner Party reminds me a little bit of some of the tunes we posted by Stepdad not too long ago. But this group of four anonymous NYC producers remain mostly shrouded in mystery, and they continue to manufacture memorable synth-pop tunes that are carving out a niche of their own. The song is about feeling absolutely helpless against a pretty lady’s charms. I think plenty of us can relate to that.
